Was I rude, short-tempered or just being sensible?

Yet another conversation with a fellow Facebooker.  Was I out of order here or did I have a point?  (Don't ever say I pander to a PR machine, trying to make myself out to be a bundle of fluff and loveliness all the time, because I'm not!):

    • hey, how you doing
    • how you doing today
    Johnny Anglais
    • Hi
    • Fine thanks
    • You?
    Danny Rashid
    • good, ill be in London next month
    Johnny Anglais
    • Have a nice time
    Danny Rashid
    • my parents have a flat off Kings Road, we should hang out
    • you should come by
    Johnny Anglais
    • I'm fine thanks
    • I think that would be a bit weird, to be honest
  • 29 minutes ago
    Danny Rashid
    • why? ha, just to go hang out, dont you like Kings Road?
    Johnny Anglais
    • No, I don't. Snotty and pretentious
    • I don't like that part of town
    Danny Rashid
    • ha ha
    • thats funny
    Johnny Anglais
    • Plus, I don't know you, have never met you. I have plenty going on in my life, including a move, so hanging out with complete strangers, as lovely as I'm sure you are, would just be unthinkable.
    Danny Rashid
    • wow, it seems you have a complex, i was just being polite, and would be cool to hang out, we would have fun, trust me
  • 27 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • I don't have a complex at all
    • You asked me a question
    • I gave you an answer
    • I personally feel that it is extremely bizarre to ask to meet up with someone you have never met when there is clearly no purpose other than to be sociable.
    • It just doesn't sit well with me.
    • I don't think it is unreasonable of me to say so
    • Or to express that concern
    Danny Rashid
    • youve never done that before? i knew i was going to be in London next month, and thought it would be fun to hang out, sorry i offended you
  • 24 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • No, I have never done that before. I have met people for the first time for reasons. Not just because I fancied hanging out with them.
    Danny Rashid
    • so why did you meet them then, for what reason
  • 23 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • I have plenty of friends I can call on if I just fancy hanging out with people. Valued friends who deserve my time and attention more so than someone I do not know and owe nothing to.
    • Usually for business reasons.
    Danny Rashid
    • Damn, your taking this too seriously, im going to be in London for two weeks, and just wanted to go have fun
  • 23 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • That is not to do you down as a person
    • Sure, and I wish you plenty of fun
    • I'm sure you will meet some wonderful people
    • You invited me and I said no
    • When you extend an invite you have to accept rejections some times.
    Danny Rashid
    • i allready know a lot of people, but wanted to meet some new ones
  • 21 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • Well, I would advise doing it through the normal channels.
    Danny Rashid
    • ha ha, you think your a counselor or something?
    Johnny Anglais
    • Not at all
    • Listen, you asked the question. You obviously have little respect for my point of view. So, I have to ask, why would I want to form any kind of connection with someone who has zero respect for my opinion.
    • ???
    Danny Rashid
    • wow , you are making this really complicated, i just wanted to hang out, and your making it into this big fiasco
  • 19 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • I am not. I said no. Why are you pursuing it?
    Danny Rashid
    • i dont know, sorry,
    • just thought it would be fun to hang out, on Kings thats all, i dont know what im going to do when im there
  • 17 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • I accept your apology and hope you respect my answer and the reasons I have agree. Whether you agree with them or not is your choice.
    • *given
    Danny Rashid
    • ok, wow, i hope your not like this with everyone, you seem like a complicated person,
  • 16 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • OK here we go again
    Danny Rashid
    • ha
    Johnny Anglais
    • You asked me a question. I gave you the answer and I explained BRIEFLY why. You then followed it up with a supplementary question. YOU made it complicated not ME.
    Danny Rashid
    • dude, i was just saying lets go hang out, and you made it into this big complex shit
  • 14 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • I have to question why ME? Why you are pursuing it so rigorously? And why, if you already have friends here, you would therefore want to hand out with me?
    Johnny Anglais
    • And am finding your persistence, EVEN NOW, really quite concerning.
    • Read back
    • YOU made it complex, not me
    • I have been perfectly decent and respectful
  • 13 minutes ago
    Danny Rashid
    • damn your getting angry
    Johnny Anglais
    • I could just have said NO and ignored you
    • But I didn't
    • I believe you deserved more than that
    • So I gave you a brief explanantion]
    • You weren't satsified with the reason I gave
    • So I elaborated
    • You then have the audacity to apologise and then, once you apologised, to carry on yet again!
    • What an insincere apology!!!!
    Danny Rashid
    • wow, what a rant, i didnt realize i would piss you off like that
  • 11 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • Nor did I. But clearly, through your thoughtlessness, insincerity and lack of respect for my point of view, you have.
    • I am only human.
    Danny Rashid
    • i am too, and i just simply was wanting to hang out thats it, you made it really complicated
  • 9 minutes ago
    Johnny Anglais
    • We're getting nowhere. Clearly I have made the right decision. You are disrespectful and also have the incapacity to recognise where YOU made it complicated, not ME
    • Now FUCK OFF
    Danny Rashid
    • wow seriously?\

PRESS RELEASE: Teacher-turned-stripper/pornstar fights to become national 'role model'

Former London secondary school teacher who made headlines last year after being discovered working as a stripper and porn star, will be representing Greater London in this year's 'Mister Supernational' contest! This event takes place in Cardiff on August 6th and will be an event not to miss....

Johnny is proud to represent Greater London in his quest for the title of Mister Supernational 2011 and is being sponsored along the path by luxurious adult lifestyle brand,  Desire Pour Homme  (www.desirepourhomme.co.uk), "offering products for the discerning man that specialise in the naughtier side of play time".
According to contest organisers, Mister Supernational "is not a body-building contest.  It aims to look for the UK's most charismatic, charming, intelligent and, of course, good looking guys that take pride in their appearance and would make a great role model for young men everywhere."
It is, therefore, perhaps with some controversy that adult entertainer, Johnny Anglais, has been accepted to represent the capital with the possibility of winning the coveted title.

Johnny says that being selected to represent his beloved city in this contest is an honour, but even he was surprised when he heard the good news. “I was completely honest with the organisers from the start.  I’m not stupid, I realise that some people do not approve of what I do and would certainly question the possibility of me being a ‘role model’”.
When asked, by the organisers of the contest, why he should be Mister Supernational 2011,Johnny stated:
“I believe that a man is not just one thing.  A man, by his sheer nature, is multi-faceted.  He is a lover, a father and a son and a friend to many. Having been a teacher, a stripper, a porn 'star', an actor, a singer, a campaigner - I break the mould (or, at least, I prove the above to be true).  I am well-spoken, articulate, intelligent, educated and a gentleman.  I am also kind and loving.  But I am also a sexual beast, a red-hot lover who enjoys nothing more than a night of passion or, as is often the case, as an exhibitionist in front of camera.”

Johnny is extremely grateful to have the ongoing support from his family and friends and is very excited to be sponsored by Desire Pour Homme, a company that, he believes, fits in perfectly with his whole philosophy.  “Desire Pour Homme offers men products that let them explore their sex and sexuality on so many levels.  Being a sexual being is nothing to be ashamed of.  We have a history of being a nation of prudes, but Desire Pour Homme helps men to celebrate and enjoy their sexuality with a range of products to suit all tastes.”

Since being fired from his teaching job last year, Johnny has been interviewed, at home and abroad, for various newspaper and magazine articles, radio stations, on Spanish national television, on BBC1's 'The Big Question' debate about porn and been one of the official speakers at the Cambridge Union's debate about the role of porn in society where he claimed that "the problem is not porn, but our immature national attitude to sex" and that"allowing your child unlimited access to the internet is like dropping your child off in Soho, saying 'Here you are, we'll see you in a few hours'."
As well as his public speaking role, Johnny also landed a role in a new US series on HBO called 'Girls Guide to Depravity' and in Noel Clarke's next big film, a romantic comedy, to be released in February 2012, 'The Knot', which also stars Matthew McNulty, Talulah Riley and Hollywood actress, Mena Suvari.
Johnny continues,  unashamedly,  in his role as a stripper and is now appearing regularly as one of The Dreamboys, as well as a performer in R18 productions.
Outside of work, Johnny ran this year's London Marathon, raising money for Whizz-kids, sang in a charity cabaret highlighting awareness about testicular cancer, and has recently won the right to continue caring for an ex-student whom he assisted in rescuing from Pakistan after being taken out of sixth form in Redbridge and forced into an Islamic religious school by his parents.
